Immediately after a preview of the film, Emily and Sarah review Florence Foster Jenkins from the members bar at the Picture House Central. The film is a British-French biographical comedy-drama and the latest film from director Stephen Frears, written by Nicholas Martin. The film stars Meryl Streep as Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York heiress who became an opera singer notorious for her lack of singing skills, Hugh Grant plays her craftier husband and manager.
