Unkept Screening in Leeds

Reel Vision’s Secret Film Unkept winner of the Isle of Man 2011 Film Festival Documentary category is to be screened in Leeds.

On the 4th of October 2011 WYIFN (we’re your independent film network) have asked to screen our secret film ‘Unkept’ as part of their ‘Shortbread’ independent film screening event.

This will take place at the Dock Street Market Bar

Reel Vision Film have managed to attain an interview with Mr Martin most well known for BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen and some may remember him for his equally expert footwork on Strictly Come Dancing!

James is over for the Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival-
So please tell us what you’d like Reel Vision to ask in our interview?!

Fun Fact–he has managed to chop his way through a World Record amount of 515g of carrots in one minute!

This year’s Festival will also welcome special guest Stacie Stewart.

Stacie was a Masterchef semi-finalist and now owns her own bakery as well as being in demand for cooking demonstrations at exhibitions such as ideal Home and the BBC Good Food Show.

The Food and Drink Festival is moving to the Nunnery Gardens, the beautiful grounds of the Isle of Man International Business School, Old Castletown Road, Douglas. The Festival takes place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2011, with admissions from 10am to 4pm.

‘Unkept’ in Demand

Hot off the Press- New DVD’s of Unkept

We have received unprecedented high volumes of demand for copies of ‘Unkept’ The Secret Film.

The copies pictured here are heading off in all directions, Isle of Man, England, France.

WYIFN ‘WE’RE YOUR INDEPEPENDENT FILM NETWORK’ in Leeds have requested a copy to be posted for consideration to be included in one of their Independent Film screenings . We’ll update you in due course!

Whats it all about?

‘Unkept’ is the result of a creative social experiment based on people’s genuine deepest darkest secrets. Over several Months individual’s secrets were anonymously collected and then randomly assigned to actors to deliver to camera. In some cases this created a very interesting and provocative  juxtaposition between words being spoken and the image being showed. The Secrets are now told, yet remain secret. Unkept features appearances from 44+ Manx based actors and creatives including the stunning Singer Songwriter Anna Goldsmith.
